IFMSA SCOME and ESRA Maxillofacial Surgery Research

Group teamed up with Dr. Nowak and Dr. Slowik to present a 2-part suturing workshop. The

workshop was divided into two different times slots. Participants were taught 3 different types of

suturing techniques; interrupted, vertical and horizontal. Along with practicing these suturing

techniques the participants of the event were taught how to put on sterile surgical gloves. There was

a total of 44 participants that joined the workshop, 10 were paying members of IFMSA.
